Responsibilities

As a Recruitment Specialist for Liberty Military Housing, you will be responsible for implementing LMH’s recruitment strategies and consistently enhancing our employer brand in their local market. You will represent our company at various community events, including trade schools, career fairs, and other community functions. Your role is pivotal in promoting our employee-ownership culture, values, benefits and career opportunities to attract top talent. You will actively engage with our hiring managers and potential candidates through Talent Sourcing, attending company sponsored events, job fairs, and community outreach events, while effectively utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline the hiring process.

 

Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Represent Liberty Military Housing at local college campuses, trade schools, job fairs, company sponsored events, including San Diego Football Club, to build brand awareness and attract diverse talent.
  • Develop and execute strategies to promote our robust training programs, comprehensive benefits, and wellness initiatives.
  • Create and share engaging content on social media platforms to highlight our company culture and employee success stories.
  • Create effective recruitment and talent sourcing strategies in their assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize the ATS to manage candidate pipelines, schedule interviews, and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Create social media content to promote career opportunities. This includes developing visually appealing posts and utilizing various social media platforms to attract potential candidates.
  • Ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience from application to onboarding.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely communication and updates throughout the hiring process.
  • Operate a company or personal vehicle to travel to various locations for work purposes.

Qualifications

What You Need for Success:  

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or employer branding, preferably in a corporate or higher education setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong talent sourcing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and online sourcing tools (e.g., Indeed & LinkedIn).
  • Familiar with employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR technologies.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to travel to regional event locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities.
  • Position may require climbing stairs and ladders, walking and standing for long periods of time.
  • The position requires mobility within the office; use of a computer and other office machinery such as a scanner and copy machine.
  • Must be able to adhere to fast-paced, constantly changing work environment, including handling multiple tasks daily.
  • Ability to operate a company or personal vehicle or electrical cart.
  • Ability to independently lift/carry supplies or equipment up to 30 lbs.
  • Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, chemicals, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
  • Must be willing to work indoor/outdoor environments, in all weather conditions, and potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overnight travel as required and respond to emergency situations.

Payrange $34.00-$38.00 hourly Plus a 15% Annual Bonus.
