A Day in the Life of a Yard/Waste Manager:

As a Liberty Military Housing Yard/Waste Manager, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring and organizing the yard and waste storage, as well as the warehouse and inventory. Your role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, the ability to work efficiently and effectively, and the ability to deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with Liberty Military Housing’s quality customer satisfaction standards.

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Compliance with all company guidelines, OSHA and EPA regulations and any applicable laws in your area regarding health, safety, or environment, as well as LMH standards.
• Assist, guide and educate residents disposing personal items in the yard.
• Assist with various physical tasks as directed including removal of abandoned items including tools, furniture and other equipment.
• Receive maintenance inventory from multiple suppliers and distribute materials on a daily basis.
• Work with multiple budgets, monitoring expenditures and implement corrective actions.
• Organize and properly stock warehouse with materials needed for multiple locations.
• Maintain overall physical condition of warehouse and yard by planning and implementing new layouts and conducting warehouse and yard inspections.
• Performs routine clean up and organization with on yard and warehouse.
• Assist with managing warranty repairs/replacements from multiple suppliers.
• Assist with managing recycling, universal and hazard waste collected on site.
• Assist in the preparation of make ready units as requested including trash/bulk item removal, touch up paint, or general cleaning and maintenance.
• Performs an additional routine cleaning/maintenance on site as requested.

What You Need for Success:

• A high school education or equivalent is required (college hours preferred).
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a level of proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (MS Word), and inventory software.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be knowledgeable in OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Must be willing to work evenings and/or weekends on a regular schedule and in the case of an emergency.
• Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities.

Pay Range: $24.00 - $29.00 Hourly
