A Day in the Life of a Regional Benefits Coordinator:

 

As a Liberty Military Housing Benefits Coordinator, you will assist the region with benefits as it relates to Workers’ Compensation, Leave of Absence and other benefit and administrative functions.

 

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

  • Manage all workers compensation claims for site personnel and complete all required documentation.
  • Support managers with WC process and incident reporting.
  • Provide status updates of workers comp claims and participate in claims reviews with WC insurance carrier.
  • Reach out to insurance claims representatives to determine status of claims.
  • Update OSHA logs and report claims.
  • Monitor and track employee Leave of Absence; interactive process, determine return to work and/or modified duty status.
  • Communicate with employees and management regarding status and eligibility of LOA’s.
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment and serve as the regional point of contact.
  • Provide training to managers regarding workers’ compensation and Leave of Absence process.

Qualifications

What You Need for Success:

  • Prior experience 3-5 years in an administrative role.
  • Experience with Workers’ Compensation and Human Resources.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Internet and email skills.
  • Ability to learn new computer programs.
  • Must be flexible with work hours - able to work Monday through Friday during regular business hours; some overtime may be required on an as-needed basis.
  • Must have the ability to travel for meetings, events, etc.
  • Must have proficiency in verbal/written communications. Must have proficiency in math.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize duties, exercise good judgment, and use discretion when dealing with confidential matters or information.
  • Ability to identify any urgent matters or irregularities with reports or documents and notify necessary parties in a timely manner.
  • Act as liaison with other regional and corporate offices.
  • Other reasonable job functions as needed.

 

Pay Range: $28.00 - $36.00
