A Day in the Life of Asset Management Analyst

 

As a Liberty Military Housing Asset Management Analyst, you will assist the Asset Management team to develop the Annual Operating and Renovation Budgets, respond to inquiries from government partners and the Executive Board concerning budget comparisons, service performance, perform monthly, quarterly and annual analyses, and prepare ad-hoc analyses as needed. You will be working with property management, accounting, internal construction project managers, and external construction partners. You will assist with the performance oversight, asset requirements/needs, and reporting requirements of several military housing portfolios. Your role require some travel for budget meetings to various installations located within the United States.

 

Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Uphold and actively support the overarching goals of the Public-Private Venture (PPV), ensuring the provision of quality housing and exemplary service to military service members and their families.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast economic outcomes, and provide actionable insights for asset optimization and risk management.
  • Monitor and report on the financial status of property assets, including capital expenditures, depreciation, and valuation adjustments.
  • Support the asset management team in the strategic decision-making process by providing detailed financial and market analysis.
  • Work with military partners to ensure the alignment of the housing projects with governmental standards and requirements
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new systems and processes to enhance the financial and operational efficiency of the asset management function.
  • Participate in asset walks and aid in preparing Asset Management reports.

Qualifications

What You Need for Success:   

  •  Some college preferred.
  •  Proven experience in property management, financial analysis, or construction management is highly desirable.
  •  Proficiency with Yardi property management software is preferred.
  •  Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management and government   partners.
  •  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs) to handle complex data analysis and reporting.
  •  Keen attention to detail with the ability to spot financial anomalies, errors, and inconsistencies.
  •  Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  •  Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and employ sound judgment in decision-making processes.
  •  Resilience under pressure and ability to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  •  High adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities and assume new responsibilities as required by evolving business   needs.
  •  Strong team player capabilities with the ability to also work independently and drive projects to completion.
  •  Willingness and ability to travel domestically to support budget development and operational meetings.
  •  Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  •  Position requires the ability to attend site walks that may exceed 5 miles per day.

Pay Range: $31.00 - $38.00 Hourly
